Diplocentrus lindo

Above is a photo of Diplocentrus lindo, a rarely seen scorpion found in southern Texas. This scorpion species and a few others are the only scorpions of the family Scorpionidae found in the USA. They are found in remote areas, which is why these scorpions are rarely seen. A close relative is the Emperor Scorpion, the scorpion found for sale in many pet shops. I am fortunate to have available pics of these Texas Scorpions.
