We at Arizona Scorpion World are trying to provide some information on scorpions of other states.
There are over 100 species of Scorpions in the United States.
To our knowledge, Georgia has only two scorpion species, Centruroides hentzi and Vaejovis
carolineanus.

Scorpions have their place in the scheme of things that has nothing
to do with stinging people.
Scorpions are among the world's oldest land invertebrates. Scorpions do a great job of
keeping insect populations in check.
