Indian Scorpion photos taken on a recent trip to India!!!
Above are pics of several Scorpions seen recently in Maharastra, India. They include a female Orthochirus species with 2nd instar young on her back and one of the Orthochirus 2nd instars. Also a Mesobuthus tamulus gangeticus, Indian Red Scorpion juvenile and a group of adult Mesobuthus tamulus gangeticus from Pune. The Indian Red Scorpion is responsible for over 2000 deaths per year.
