Scorpion season is finally here in Northern Arizona!!!
Above are pics of several Arizona Scorpions found North of Flagstaff, Arizona 5-17-2008. The first photo is Paruroctonus boreus, noted by the large claws.
The second and third photos are Paruroctonus species that I have not yet identified to species.
The fourth photo is of a Seradigitus wupatkiensis.
The fifth photo is a Centruroides excilicauda. Also known as a Bark Scorpion. This is the one scorpion species in Arizona that is of medical significance.
