Above is a photo of a new species of Vaejovis. This Scorpion pic was taken in Sonora,
Mexico. Vaejovis bandido is related to Vaejovis deboerae and Vaejovis vorhiesi.
It is a distinct species. Vaejovis bandido was found in the Sierra de los Ajos Mountains, south
of the Arizona border with Sonora, Mexico. The species description was published recently in the
Journal of Arachnology.
I am fortunate to have pics of rare scorpions like this one.
